Actually - don't send me spiteful comments. I wouldn't enjoy that.

I don't know why but I wish I was you.

*Also likes you* Are you going to post more like House does? It's hilarious the way you go back and forth. Dry humor tends to be my favorite kind.

And hello. :)

Hello [info]madame_maya.

I opened this account in an attempt to minimize the time hospital staff spend online and away from patients. I think it would give the wrong impression if I were to start journaling.

Thank you very much for your enthusiasm and interest in our hospital.

Would you enjoy livejournal if you knew your boss reads your entries?

But I have to admit that it looks like Dr. House's determination to spend his work hours around here is much greater than my determination to spoil it for him.

Agh. ._. That's scary. Yay for being a spoiled teenager and not having to work, AND for having lazy teachers.

At least he opted for a LiveJournal and not a My Space. That shit's just wrong. T_T

Thank you very much. May I say, you did a fine job of living up to your handle this past week. House is one of those rare people that I sometimes applaud when he points out stupidity to those guilty of it, yet is such an ass sometimes that it's a pleasure to see him get pwned by someone smarter.

Have you thought of blogging more often? Surely even someone with your work ethic doesn't work all the time. :-)

If he spends so much tim out of clinic and online here, why don't you just ban the website from the hospital server...my college did that with neopets the bastards...

oh...and hi

I could ban the site, that's true, but it would totally ruin the fun of the game.

Exacly. If you can't enjoy a bit of cat and mouse, what can you do?

Be bored, that's what. I just wish my kitten wouldn't insist on playing *real* cat and mouse with my slippers and dead mice...

Still you're right, if I had a boss, I wouldn't want them reading my LJ, but that's what Friends Only is for ;) You'd think someone as smart as House would have worked that one out by now

House's logic usually isn't exactly tranparent. I'm sure he's got his reasons for handling things the way he does.

It's none of my business, but if you allow me to overstep the lines for a second: Please be careful the cat doesn't scratch you. If it does, watch the scratch carefully and if you see any abnormal or extensive reddening, please see someone about it.

Trust me, cat scratches are the *least* of my worries...organ failure? Yeah that's what I gotta watch out for more...

....though since it's happening already I'm doing a pretty sucky job of looking out for it...

And you don't overstep the mark...you're a doctor it's kinda natural, like me...I'm a fiction writer for teenagers so I can't help but see plot lines everywhere.

A writer - I've got to say, I'm impressed. I assume to do your job you must be a very skilled observer of your surroundings, I admire that in people.

I started writing when I got sick - you notice a lot when all you can do is sit in bed and watch them when they don't think you're looking. You get to know a lot about people's character that way too.

And it's not really a job because it doesn't pay the bills...and I've only had one book published....

Many writers have a manuscript that is never published and only gathers dust, for having been published you should be proud of yourself. It's a great achievement.

If you don't consider it your job, is it a calling? A hobby turned profession?

Well, next time you have a break I may pop along for a chat - or you can track me down at my LJ...I'm usually around and there are some public entries to find me in...

I won't tell House if you don't ;)
